One of the places featured in COMOD: Café de Flore, Paris

The need

Choosing where to go out takes time: directories list hundreds of addresses with no help to decide, and reviews contradict each other. We wanted a more direct experience, close to a friend telling you "that one, yes; that one, no".

The product

COMOD shows places one at a time — museums, parks, cafés, restaurants, shops — with their photos, category and distance. Swipe right to keep, left to pass. Saved places sort themselves into albums by city and month, or into custom folders; a city search and a category filter complete the experience.

Data comes from public sources, completed by venue managers themselves through COMOD Pro, the space where they claim their listing, add photos and update opening hours, with passwordless login by email link.

Albums of saved places are sorted by city and month

What the project proves for yours

COMOD is not a mock-up: it is an app running in production, with real users and real partners. It demonstrates our ability to take a mobile project end to end — from scoping to store publication, then maintenance — with a small, hands-on team. That is exactly what we offer in our mobile app development service.
